Island Rock Resort - Lapas
The Lapas at Island Rock Resort are of a constructed of brick and mortar. Lapas is a defenitive Southern African defintion which refers to more than one structure that is based in a loose circle. At Island Rock Resort the Lapas have been built with groups and families in mind.
Each Lapa is set apart from the camp and nestled between the beach dune and indegenous bush.
There are 2 Lapas available.
Lapa Orca
- Lapa Orca has 5 Units that sleep 4 individuals in 4 single beds
- There is a Communial kitchen area which includes the following for each house.
- Fridge and a cupboard where food can be stored.
- Gas plates and gas included in the price.
- All kitchen utencils, Pots, pans cutlery and crockery included.
- There is a Communial washing line.
- There is a Abolution block with hot water and 3 showers plus 2 toilets for both ladies and gents.
- Ensure that you bring your own towels and mosquito nets.
Lapa Lagosta
- Lapa Lagosta has 5 Units that sleep 5 individuals per house. (one double bed and 3 single beds)
- Each unit has its own shower and toilet
- There is a Communial kitchen area which includes the following for each house.
- Fridge and a cupboard where food can be stored.
- Gas plates and gas included in the price.
- All kitchen utencils, Pots, pans cutlery and crockery included.
- There is Communial washing line.
- There is a Small abolution with one cold water shower and one toilet.
Ensure that you bring your own towels and mosquito nets.
